Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara says the club’s objectives for the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League is not about making promises of success.
Despite high expectations, the team has had a difficult start, managing just two wins in their first seven games.
They currently sit ninth in the league with nine points, six behind the leaders.
After a goalless draw against Dreams FC on Sunday, head coach Aboubakar Ouattara avoided making any bold predictions about the club’s title chances.
“When the league starts, everyone knows the big teams. We have our objectives, but it’s not time to make promises.
“We’ll play our 34 matches, then assess what happened. We’re here to fight for something, and we’re not giving up.”
Hearts of Oak will aim to improve their position when they face Bibiani GoldStars this Sunday at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium in match week eight.
