Hearts of Oak coach, Aboubakar Ouattara, is backing his side to return to winning ways following their narrow 1-0 loss to Bibiani GoldStars in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The Phobians hosted the league leaders at the Legon Sports Stadium in their match-week 8 clash, hoping to secure a vital victory to improve their league standing.
However, a single goal by the visitors was enough to deny Hearts of Oak the points, leaving the Accra-based side with nine points after eight matches and currently positioned 12th in the standings.
In his post-match interview, Coach Ouattara expressed his disappointment over the loss but urged supporters to remain patient and hopeful.
“Every match, we aim to win all three points, but today we lost at home. It’s part of the process for us.
“When we lose, fans naturally get frustrated, but I encourage them to keep supporting us because this is a journey.”
Coach Ouattara and his team will now focus on bouncing back in their upcoming fixture against Medeama Sporting Club as they aim to climb up the league table.
