Afcon 2025Q: Otto Addo expects team to display quality against Sudan

Ghana coach Otto Addo highlighted the importance of his team playing as a unit in their Afcon 2025 qualifier against Sudan.

The senior national team battle Sudan in their matchday 3 encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday evening.

In a press conference on Wednesday, Addo expressed confidence in his players but noted the relevance of being on a united front, both in an attacking and defensive sense.

“The probability that we lose tomorrow against Sudan very, very low if we do our homework, if we are concentrated and if we play together as a team.

“We need the victory to keep us in the group plans for the qualifiers and I know the boys are eager to win.”

The second leg of the matchup is scheduled for Monday, October 14, at the Martyrs of February Stadium in Libya.

Ghana, aiming to secure their fifth continental title, last lifted the trophy in 1982.
