Dreams FC’s winless start to the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League continued as they played a 0-0 draw against Hearts of Oak at the Tuba Astroturf in Krokrobite.
The Still Believe lads failed to pick their first win and are now with 4 draws and 3 defeats in the campaign. On the other hand, Hearts are still stuck on 2 wins, and the stalemate against their host is the third of the season.
Dreams gaffer, Abdul Karim Zito paraded Rocky Dwamena as his attacking midfielder, sitting behind the experienced striker, Joseph Easso while Yaovi Guede and Emmanuel Danquah were handed midfield roles.
Benjamin Asare kept the post once again for the Phobians. The new goalkeeper signed from Great Olympics, has been the captain of the side in all games and coach Aboubakar Ouattara’s defence had Kelvin Osei Asibey and Samuel Amofa.
Hamza Issah played alongside Kwabena Boateng in the attack.
Both teams struggled offensively, with Hearts of Oak experiencing their third goalless draw in four matches. Despite a recent victory over Young Apostles, Hearts failed to capitalize on their opportunities, managing no shots on target throughout the game.
The result leaves Hearts of Oak in ninth place in the league standings, while Dreams FC remains in the relegation zone.
Hearts will face a challenging encounter against league leaders Bibiani Goldstars in match-week 8 while Dreams FC will aim to secure their first win of the season against Young Apostles.
