Legon Cities FC coach Paa Kwesi Fabin has expressed his frustration and confusion over the team’s current performance, as they languish bottom of the Ghana Premier League table.
After match week 8, the club has managed only two points, two draws, and five losses.
Following a goalless draw against Accra Lions on Friday, Coach Fabin lamented the missed opportunities, emphasizing the disparity between training and match performance.
“It was unfortunate to draw this game, especially with the numerous chances we created. I find it hard to describe the situation—perhaps it’s naivety or inexperience,” he stated.
“Sometimes, I even ask the attackers if they want to kill the goalkeepers,” he added, reflecting his frustration.
Despite the ongoing struggles, there is a glimmer of hope for Legon Cities FC, as they have a game in hand against title contenders Asante Kotoko.
However, the team will need to significantly improve their performance to climb out of the relegation zone.
