Young Apostles suffer Nsoatreman dominance in maiden 2024/25 GPL encounter

Nsoatreman FC commenced their 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign with a win against Young Apostles on Sunday afternoon at the Nana Amoah Koramansah II Park.

Goals from Abdul Rahman and Collins Kudjoe sealed the hosts dominant display at home on match-week one.

For Young Apostles, who hoped for a good start to life in their maiden GPL campaign, the defeat should improve their plans for the next 33 games in the league.

Abdul Rahman bagged the first goal of the game in first half additional time(45+2′) to nod the FA Cup holders ahead and in the second half, Collins Kudjoe struck in added time(90+1′) as well.

For Head coach Yaw Preko, the win serves as a boost for their tough Confederation Cup game against Algerian outfit Constantine.

On the other hand, Young Apostles will battle Nations FC at the Wenchi Park.
