Young Apostles head coach, Joseph Asare Bediako, is fired up as his team prepares for a challenging encounter against Asante Kotoko in match-week three of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
The league newcomers will face the Porcupine Warriors next weekend at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium.
Despite the tough task ahead, Coach Bediako remains optimistic about his side’s chances of securing their first-ever win in the top-flight.
“We are yet to win a match, but playing Asante Kotoko will be a different ball game,” the coach said, highlighting the significance of the upcoming match.
Asante Kotoko, one of the most successful clubs in Ghanaian football history, enters the game as clear favorites.
However, Young Apostles are determined to show resilience and hunger in their pursuit of a positive result.
After two games, the Wenchi-based outfit has a point. A 2-0 loss against Nsoatreman on match-week one and the goalless stalemate at home with Nations FC.
Both teams are intensifying their preparations for the much-anticipated fixture, which is scheduled to kick off at 3 pm on Sunday, September 22.
