Nsoatreman FC’s journey in the CAF Confederation Cup has come to an end after they suffered a 1-0 defeat to Algeria’s CS Constantine in the second leg of their preliminary round tie.
The loss at the Stade Mohamed Hamlaoui on Saturday saw the Ghanaian side bow out 3-0 on aggregate, following their earlier 2-0 home defeat in the first leg.
Despite showing resilience, Nsoatreman struggled to break down the well-organised Algerian defence.
A solitary strike from CS Constantine sealed their progression to the next stage of the competition.
Nsoatreman, making their debut in continental football, will now turn their focus to domestic competitions as they look to build on the experience gained from their CAF campaign.
