Kotoko: We expect this team to win more games and compete – coach Ogum

Asante Kotoko Head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum is filled with hope and positivity as his side enters match-week three of the Ghana Premier League.

The Porcupines bagged an away victory on opening day against Karela United at Nalerigu and rested for match-week two due to Nsoatreman’s continental football duties in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Up next for the Reds is newcomers, Young Apostles, at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.

Speaking ahead of the game, Ogum entrusts his outfit to deliver better results in the 2024/25 campaign.

“We should expect this team to do very well by the end of the season, to play well, and win more games.

“Kotoko is known for winning games. If you coach or play for Kotoko, it’s a task you need to accomplish. You must play well and win games.”

“However, we shouldn’t boast; instead, we need to work harder, stay determined, stay focused, and get the job done,” he added.

A triumph for the Poctupines means a huge climb to the top sports of the league.
