Hearts legend Mohammed Polo questions coach Ouattara’s leadership after poor season start

Hearts of Oak icon, Mohammed Polo, has raised concerns about the leadership of current head coach Aboubakar Ouattara following the club’s disappointing start to the Ghana Premier League season.

The Phobians suffered a shock 1-0 defeat at home in their season opener against newly promoted Basake Holy Stars, a result that has intensified doubts over Ouattara’s ability to lead the club to success.

In an interview with Bryt FM, Polo, a legendary figure in the club’s history, expressed his dissatisfaction with the coach’s approach. He criticized Ouattara for not committing to winning the league title before the season began, a stance Polo believes is vital for a club of Hearts of Oak’s stature.

“Aboubakar Ouattara cannot lead Hearts of Oak because he lacks the necessary control and spirit.

“Last season, he almost led the team to relegation. For failing to promise the Premier League title this season, he should be replaced,” Polo stated.

With Hearts of Oak preparing to face Heart of Lions in their next match, the pressure is mounting on Ouattara to turn things around and deliver better results.
