Hearts fans are the soul of the club and I accept their criticisms – Aboubakar Ouattara

Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara has expressed the need for support from the club’s fans ahead of their match-day three fixture against Bechem United.

In hopes of revitalizing their season after losing two games in the Ghana Premier League, the Phobians will need to win at home on Sunday to rekindle the fans belief in the playing body.

Coach Ouattara has accepted the criticisms from the fans after their two losses in the league and asserts they have worked towards the weaknesses ahead of the next game.

“The fans are like the blood of the club. The coaches may leave, the players may move on, but the fans are always there,” the trainer noted during the pre-match interview.

“We understand their disappointment with the last two matches, and we are calling on them to continue supporting the team because we need them.

“I listen to the criticisms. The good ones I take but some of it, especially the insults, is not helpful.

“We ask the fans to keep supporting us. We need to win against Bechem United. That’s the message.”

Hearts of Oak languish bottom of the Ghanaian top-flight and urgently need a victory in their game against Bechem United on Sunday 6pm.
