Apollon Limassol FC has announced the signing of highly-rated young midfielder Clinton Duodu from Ghana Premier League side, Bechem United.
The 18-year-old talent has agreed to a contract that will keep him with the Cypriot giants until May 2027.
Duodu made a name for himself, emerging as one of the country’s most exciting prospects.
He began his professional career at just 15 years old with Bechem United, making his debut during the 2020-2021 season.
Duodu continued his impressive rise in the 2023-2024 campaign, featuring in 24 matches, which brought his total appearances for Bechem United to 96.
Known for his versatility as an attacking midfielder, Duodu has not only contributed to his team’s fluid style of play but has also scored seven goals during his time at the club.
His exceptional performances have earned him caps with Ghana’s U17, U20, and U23 national teams, solidifying his reputation as a rising star in African football.
Apollon Limassol’s acquisition of Duodu is seen as a strategic move to bolster their midfield with young talent as they look to remain competitive in domestic and European competitions.
