Heart of Lions head coach Bashir Hayford wants his side to keep hold of their unbeaten start to the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
The Kpando-based side remains undefeated after three matches in the top-flight, displaying solidity in defence since the season kicked off.
Heart of Lions opened their campaign with a draw against Aduana Stars, followed by a crucial victory over Hearts of Oak in match-week 2.
On Monday afternoon, they battled to a 2-2 draw with Dreams FC in their third match of the season.
Speaking after the Dreams stalemate, Coach Hayford highlighted the importance of staying focused and continuing their unbeaten run.
“We have played three matches and have not lost, so I believe we are on the right path. It’s important to capitalise on this momentum and move forward.
“Our plan is to maintain our undefeated status for as long as possible,” he said in an interview with Heart of Lions TV.
Currently sitting in the top four with five points from one win and two draws, Heart of Lions have shown resilience in the early stages of the season.
The team now shifts focus to their upcoming match-week four clash against Bibiani Gold Stars, hoping to build on their solid start.
