Viktoria Plzeň signs Ghanaian forward Prince Kwabena Adu on three-year deal

Czech football giants Viktoria Plzeň have bolstered their attacking lineup with the signing of Ghanaian forward Prince Kwabena Adu.

The 20-year-old joins the club from Ukrainian side Kryvbas FC on a contract that runs until the summer of 2027.

Viktoria Plzeň officially announced Adu’s signing in a statement released on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. “Prince Kwabena Adu is the newest player for Viktoria Plzeň.

The 20-year-old Ghanaian forward joins from Kryvbas and has signed a three-year contract with the club,” the statement read.

Adu caught the attention of Viktoria Plzeň during the 3rd qualifying round of the Europa League earlier this month, where he impressed by scoring a goal against Plzeň while playing for Kryvbas at the DOOSAN Arena.

While Adu has joined his new team, he will not be eligible to play in Viktoria Plzeň’s upcoming Europa League playoff second-leg match against Scottish side Hearts on Thursday.
