RC Lens boss Will Still confirms Salis Abdul Samed to train with reserves amid transfer talks

RC Lens manager Will Still has confirmed that several players, including midfielder Salis Abdul Samed, will train with the reserves as the club seeks to balance its finances before the close of the transfer window.

Speaking at a press conference, Still indicated that the decision is part of a broader effort to streamline the squad.

“Some players will be training with the reserves as we look at potential transfers to address the club’s financial situation,” he said.

Salis Abdul Samed, 24, who joined RC Lens from Clermont Foot in July 2022, has been linked with a move to Montpellier. The Ghanaian international has made 91 appearances in Ligue 1 for Lens over three seasons.

With the transfer window nearing its end, it remains to be seen whether Montpellier will secure the services of the talented midfielder.
