Nsoatreman FC Head coach Yaw Preko is satisfied with the first leg win against Elect-Sport in the 2024/25 Caf Confederation Cup.
The Bono-side recorded a sounding 3-0 victory as Abdul Rahman bagged a brace with Kwabena Adu Meider’s first half goal in Accra.
Reacting to the win, Yaw Preko noted his side’s worrisome start and looks ahead to the second leg in Chad.
“We didn’t start the game the way we wanted. The first 15 minutes were a bit shaky, but gradually, we settled into our rhythm.
“I instructed my players that when Elect-Sport pressed high, we should play quick one-twos and then go long.
“Once we started doing that, the goals came, confidence grew, and the team began to play some good football,” Coach Yaw Preko said.
Looking ahead to the second leg, the gaffer emphasized that his team will prepare diligently to secure qualification to the next round of the CAF Confederation Cup.
“We have a tough fixture again as a debutant in this competition and we need to qualify. That’s what we will work on, assess our weaknesses and plan for the away game.”
