Austin FC’s Sporting Director, Rodolfo Borrell, expressed his excitement over the acquisition of Osman Bukari during the player’s first media appearance with the club.
The MLS team signed the Ghanaian international on a three-and-a-half-year deal from Serbian club Red Star Belgrade.
In his remarks, Borrell emphasized Bukari’s alignment with the team’s needs. “It’s not just about one game… We consider the characteristics we need for each position to fit our playing style, and Bukari matched that profile. We are thrilled to have completed the signing, and he is now here,” Borrell said.
Bukari has already joined his new teammates in training as he gears up for the upcoming MLS season. His addition is anticipated to strengthen Austin FC’s squad as they pursue success in the league.
