Enock Morrison has disclosed his last moments with Asante Kotoko Head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum leading to his contract termination after the 2023/24 season.
The Reds announced the exit of over 18 players including long-serving goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim.
Speaking on Angel TV Morrison recounts his relationship with Ogum and getting notified of the contract annulment.
“There’s no bad blood between coach Ogum and I. We greeted and spoke briefly at our last meeting after the league ended and I went on holiday.
“Later that week, I received a call from the coach on his decision and I said thanks and wished him well. If I had any bad energy concerning him, I would have probably hung up.
“I informed my manager and the next transfer plan will be finalized soon. It’s a decision I hardly expected and it surprised me. However, I have to accept and move on with my career.”
Multiple reports claim top Ghanaian clubs have expressed interest in Enock Morrison but a move outside Ghana is expected in the current transfer window.
