The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced the dates for the 2024-25 Access Bank Division One League season.
The opening matches are scheduled for the weekend of September 27-30, 2024, spanning all three zones of the competition.
This season will run until June 2, 2025, featuring 30 weekends of matches. Notably, there will be no official midweek matchdays, a decision aimed at reducing travel demands on clubs. Instead, midweeks will be reserved for rescheduled games.
In a nod to the December 7, 2024, National Elections, the league will observe a one-week break, allowing players and officials time to participate in the democratic process.
A total of ten teams have earned promotion to the Division One League for the upcoming season, marking a fresh chapter in Ghanaian football’s second tier.
