Asante Kotoko’s new midfielder Emmanuel Antwi is elated about his transfer move from fellow Ghana Premier League side, Great Olympics.
The Reds have agreed a three-year deal with Antwi who returns to the top-flight after Olympics’ relegation in the just-ended season.
Antwi shared his excitement on the move to the club’s official media.
“I am thrilled to be here as it has been a childhood dream of mine to play for Kotoko. I am excited to wear the jersey and look forward to contributing to the team.
“Knowing some of the current players will help me settle in quickly and focus on the task ahead.”
The departure of over twenty players after Kotoko’s abysmal performance in the 2023/24 season means a new-look midfield is expected.
With the quality exhibited at Great Olympics, Emmanuel Antwi will need to feature in a vital role to keep a spot in Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum’s squad for the upcoming football season.
