Two-time Ghana Premier League (GPL) champions, Aduana FC have strengthened their squad with the addition of Seidu Saana from Tema Youth FC.
The young midfielder becomes the first official signing for the Dormaa-based club in the current transfer window.
Saana’s impressive performances in the Access Bank Division One League last season caught the eye of Aduana FC’s scouts, earning him a well-deserved opportunity to showcase his talents in the top tier.
The club announced the signing on Wednesday through their social media channels, stating:
“Welcome to the Ogya family, SEIDU SAANA! We’re excited to see your magic on the pitch with Aduana Football Club. Let’s make history together!”
Saana was a key player for Adu Gyamfi SHS, leading the team to victory in the Ashanti Regional Inter-Schools and Colleges boys soccer championship in 2017.
While Aduana FC did not disclose the details of his contract, further checks by FootyGhana.com revealed that Saana signed a two-year deal with an option for an additional year.
The ‘Ogya’ lads are also in advanced talks to sign free-agent right-back Kwadwo Amoako, who recently left Medeama SC, as they aim to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.
The 2024/25 Ghana Premier League (GPL) season is set to commence on September 6.
