I have had transfer contact with Asante Kotoko – Bofoakwa’s Saaka Dauda

Bofoakwa Tano striker Saaka Dauda has revealed Asante Kotoko’s interest in his craft for the 2024/25 season.

As the Bono-side heads for the Division One League after suffering relegation in the just ended Ghana Premier League, Dauda aims to continue top-flight football.

The skipper played in the MTN FA Cup final defeat against Nsoatreman FC and it’s certainly the last game for the club amid interest from top Ghanaian side, Kotoko.

“Yes, as of now, I have spoken with no one from Hearts but I have received calls from Asante Kotoko,” he told Akoma FM.

“Kotoko is a big team, so I would really love to play for them.

“Looking at the players, board, and owner, it is clear that this is a great team, and if the deal is completed, I will be grateful to God for providing me with such a big platform.

“However, I still have two years left on my contract, so Kotoko and Bofoakwa will need to come to an agreement before I can join.”
