#FootyTransfers: Ebenezer Annan full of glee after completing Red Star Belgrade move

Ghana defender, Ebenezer Annan is ready to upgrade his football career at his new club Red Star Belgrade.

The Bologna full-back agreed a three-year contract early June with the Serbian champions after his loan deal with another Serbian club Novi Pazar ended.

The 21-year-old spoke in his first interview with delight after completing the move.

“I am very excited to have signed a contract with Red Star. I am glad that my good games were noticed and that I managed to draw the attention of the manager.

“I’m familiar with the Superliga and I think it’s very high-quality, so I’m looking forward to having the opportunity to continue playing in Serbia.”

Furthermore, Annan touched on his qualities and areas his football must improve for the team.

“I think my main assets are speed and technique, as well as intelligence with the ball, but I can improve in all segments. I want it and I believe in myself,” the defender stressed.

Annan was part of the Black Stars squad that defeated Mali and Central African Republic.
