The Confederation of African Football has announced the dates for the commencement of the CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
The competition, set for Morocco, kicks off on July 5 and ends July 26, 2025.
Africa’s flagship women’s football tourney is growing exponentially and President of CAF Dr Patrice Motsepe is optimistic of the success in the tourney.
“I am impressed by the enormous growth of Women’s Football in Africa and I am expecting the CAF TotalEnergies WAFCON Morocco 2024 to be immensely successful.”
Ghana’s Black Queens will feature in the competition, in hopes of winning their maiden continental title.
