Asante Kotoko have acquired the services of Al Hilal left-back Esmat Abdulhamid Mohammed on a season long loan.
The 21-year-old joins the Porcupines ahead of tne 2024/25 season under the recommendation of Kotoko’s Interim Management member Kwasi Appiah.
Esmat is expected to undergo his medical before joining the Reds for next season as coach Prosper Narteh Ogum grafts to recover from the poor display in the 2023/24 season.
The departure of John Tedeku means Hamid will be competing for the left-back slot with Nicholas Osei Bonsu.
A solid campaign for Kotoko might engineer a permanent move for the Sudanese left-back when the 2024/25 season ends.
