The Black Stars of Ghana boosted their 2026 Fifa World Cup qualifying campaign with a 2-1 come-from-behind victory away to Mali Thursday night.
Jordan Ayew’s winner in the ending moments of the encounter bagged the four-time campaigners’ second win in Group I after three games.
The Black Stars conceded in the 45th minute of the game through Doumbia. Alexander Djiku’s clearance in the box deflected off the forward as the ball bounced into Ghana’s goal.
In massive retaliation after the halftime break, Otto Addo’s charges improved upfront and levelled with Ernest Nuamah’s header in the 58th minute from Samed Salis’ cross from the right wing.
