Nsoatreman FC Head Coach Maxwell Konadu was full of praise for his team after the 2023/24 MTN FA Cup triumph on Sunday evening.
The Bono-side defeated Bofoakwa Tano 5-4 on penalties after the 1-1 stalemate in 120 minutes of football action at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
The triumph is Nsoatreman’s maiden top-flight title success after qualifying to the Ghana Premier League in the 2022/23 season.

Speaking after the game, Konadu commended the team spirit and patience of his superiors during torrid moments of the campaign.
“I have to thank the whole team especially the Board and Management for the patience they had in this technical team and players.
“It got a bit sloppy in the middle of the season and they motivated us to keep on working. This is the end result. When I joined Nsoatreman, I knew we will do good and I believe in myself and what I can do.
“Thanks to the players and the technical team. We deserve this and we will see where we go from here. Africa is next and we will be ready.”
Nsoatreman finished 5th in the league standings – eleven points behind winners Samartex – and a title challenge is expected in the 2024/25 league campaign
