We want to score more goals to boost our confidence – Salim Adams

Hearts of Oak midfielder Salim Adams has reiterated his side’s desire to score more  goals in their games to improve their confidence upfront for their subsequent matches.

The Phobians destroyed Berekum Chelsea with their tremendous 3-0 victory at the Golden City Park on Wednesday afternoon in their match-week 29 league game.

Goals from Hamza Issah, Linda Mtange, and Kasim Cisse in the 20th, 59th, and 83rd minutes respectively returned the Rainbow Boys to winning ways.

Salim Adams’s stellar performance was rightfully spotted as it helped his side win and won him the MVP of the match.

“We were expecting to win by five goals, not three we were determined to win this game.

“It’s our wish to score more in all our games and that will give us momentum  and confidence upfront.

“This win will boost our morale and we are looking forward to the next game, we are taking it match after match, there is no pressure on us.”

Furthermore, Adams reflected on the inconsistency in his performance.

“I know of my performance and I am going to work on it, we look forward to ending the season in a better position.”

Per the result, Accra Hearts Of Oak climbs to 11th position with 38 points and will prepare to meet Aduana Stars in their next fixture.

Brekum Chelsea will welcome Asante Kotoko in their fixture, they are currently 8th with 41 points.
