We owe our fans a smile on Sunday against Hearts – Kotoko’s Frederick Asare

Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Frederick Asare is positive ahead of the Super Clash against Hearts of Oak.

In match-week 31, the Porcupines welcome Hearts to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon in a quest to return to winning ways after the poor result in Berekum.

The Phobians, on the other hand, aim to revitalise their appalling season with the rival game as they lost at home to Aduana earlier.

But for Asare, who is expected to return into action for Kotoko, they aim to compound matters for the Rainbow Boys.

“Going into this match I can assure fans that it’s going to be a fantastic game. It’s going to be a good game and we will make them happy.

“Most importantly, the team will ensure we correct the mistakes we have been making before this game.

“We will do what we need to do to get victory for the fans and we know it’s about bragging rights and we are prepared to win this game.”

The Kotoko goalie continued: “Personally, I’m prepared and I’m assuring the fans that it’s going to be a wonderful game.”

The Porcupine Warriors are 10th in the league standings while Hearts follow in 12th.
