We need the Hearts of Oak fans to keep backing us – Rahim Bashiru

Hearts of Oak Assistant Coach Abdul Rahim Bashiru has asked for calm and support after their defeat to Accra Lions in match-week 28 of the Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians got pipped 1-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday afternoon and its their fifth defeat of the last six league games.

Rahim Bashiru highlighted the team’s challenge and urged the fans to support the team.

“Goal scoring is our main problem and it is something we have been facing. In training you see them scoring but we don’t know what is going on.

“We have to go back and do our correction.”

Ahead of the team’s next game against Berekum Chelsea, coach Abdul Bashir wants supporters to back the team to ensure victory.

“We are not happy. The fans should have confidence in us and back us. We can go to Chelsea and give them the three points.”

Head coach Abubakar Ouattara is under intense pressure to improve the dwindling recent results of the club before the season ends.
