John Eduafo: Bofoakwa Tano gaffer hails team’s resilience in FA Cup victory

Bofoakwa Tano Head Coach, John Eduafo has expressed his desire in his team’s solidity in the win against Dreams FC in the MTN FA Cup.

Bofoakwa Tano made history by over-coming current FA Cup holder Dreams FC 2-1 after 120 minutes of play to reach the final.

The Bono side return to another title match after they lost to Asante Kotoko in 1972.

Bofoakwa will face Nsoatreman who also won 2:1 against Legon Cities in the final at the University Of Ghana Stadium.

Eduafo, in his post-match interview, expressed how determined they were to beat Dreams to make it to the final and potentially secure a spot in Africa.

“We have had our back against the wall and fought with Dreams, I came all determined to beat my father Karim Zito because it is time we also needed to come up.

“Why not? The dream of every coach is to reach the final, win it, and compete in Africa. It’s my dream as well to reach the final, win, and compete in Africa.”

He added: “We will prepare from now and possibly meet Nsoatreman in the final, along with the five league matches left.”
