Following their 2-0 victory over Benin today, the Black Starlets of Ghana have secured a place in the semifinals of the ongoing WAFU Zone B AFCON Qualifiers.

With a stunning flick past Benin’s goalie in the 19th minute, Mark Kagawa gave Ghana the lead.

In the 22nd minute, Ghana doubled their lead thanks to a goal by Ayamga Theophilus.

Both teams created chances in the second half, but they were unable to convert them, making it a nail-biter.
