I am experienced and ready for Black Stars job – Karim Zito

Dreams FC coach Abdul Karim Zito is open for the Black Stars coaching job.

After a stellar campaign with the local league outfit in the 2023/24 Caf Confederation Cup, the experienced tactician has expressed his willingness to manage Ghana’s senior national team if handed the role.

Zito’s experience spans from the lower leagues of Ghana football and his success with the junior national teams.

“I am one of the most experienced coaches in the country and I have achieved a lot with clubs and national teams.

“I won the U-20 Championship with the Black Satellites but we were not able to play in the World Cup due to COVID-19.”

Zito continued by citing his affiliation to the GFA President as a reason why he’s overlooked during top national appointments.

“I have been criticized due to my affiliation with Kurt Okraku but with the experience that I have, I will not turn down the Black Stars coaching opportunity.

“I have what it takes to coach the team because I am one of the few coaches with good experience and a better understanding of the game,” he added.

Abdul Karim Zito and Dreams are gearing up for the quarterfinal stages of the Caf Confederation Cup after topping their group.
