The Black Queens have booked their spot in the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations after beating Namibia 3-2 on aggregate.
Ghana lost 1-0 to Namibia in the second leg at the Lucas Moripe Stadium but qualify due to the 3-1 first leg victory in Accra.
The national women’s senior team returns to the flagship womenโs tourney after missing out in 2022.
Nora Hauptle’s side joins Algeria, Morocco and South Africa as the teams to have qualified for the competition so far.

The 1-0 defeat from Namibia is the team’s first since Hauptle took over from Mercy Tagoe as Ghana coach.
The 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations will be played in Morocco.
