2023/24 Caf CL: Medeama coach Evans Adotey aims for win or draw at Young Africans

Medeama SC head coach Augustine Evans Adotey expects a tough test from Young Africans in the 2023/24 Caf Champions League group stage on Wednesday afternoon.

The Mauve and Yellow play their Tanzanian opponents in the fourth round of the group matches at the Benjamin Nkapa Stadium.

Adotey speaking ahead of the clash highlighted his ambition in the encounter and the quality of Yanga.

“We are psychologically ready for this game and have the confidence. I don’t mind even if I am intimidated or frustrated.

“And that’s because my focus and mission is to ensure that I go back to Ghana with a good result.

“A draw is okay for me; a win is okay for me. Defeat is what I need to be cautious about,” Adotey concluded at the press conference.

Medeama are second in the group with 4 points, one behind leaders Al Ahly who will play CR Belouizdad in round four as well.
