Evans Adotey confident Medeama and Dreams will “steal the show” in CAF assignments

Medeama SC coach Augustine Evans Adotey is positive that his outfit and Dreams FC will progress beyond the group stage of their continental campaigns.

The two domestic top-flight sides represent Ghana in the group stage of the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup.

Medeama, playing in the Champions League, will compete in Group D alongside title holders Al Ahly SC, Algerian champions CR Belouizdad, and Tanzanian giants Young Africans SC.

Dreams are playing Tunisian giants Club Africain, Nigeria’s Rivers United, and Academica do Lobito of Angola.

“Zito and I played together and we have become coaches together. We won the WAFU AFCON.

“We know each other and what each of us can do. We talk, and hope to go into the group stages to steal the show just like Ahly and the other clubs.

“We have an ambition to get to the knockout stages and that’s what we are all working on.”

The Caf Champions League and Confederation Cup group stage action will begin in the last weekend of November through to early March 2024.
