2023/24 CAFCL: Medeama commend Al Ahly reception ahead of group stage battle

Ghanaian giants, Medeama, have praised Al Ahly for their hospitality ahead of their Caf Champions League group stage match on Saturday.

The Tarkwa-based outfit arrived in Cairo Wednesday night and the club’s Director of Communications Patrick Akoto highlighted the professionalism by the Egyptian giants.

“We arrived last night and we need to commend Ahly for their treatment so far. Upon our arrival, they served us well in transportation terms and accommodation.

“We have been pleased with their warm reception and we hope it continues till we leave.

“It’s an important game for us and we need all the positive focus to start well in this competition.”

Akoto continued: “We have a full contingent here and more of our executives are expected by Thursday evening.

“The guys are ready for the game and we hope for a good result.”

Medeama face Al Ahly on Saturday evening at the Al Salam Stadium.

Aside Al Ahly, the Mauve and Yellow has Young Africans of Tanzania and Algerian champions CR Belouizdad in their group.
