We lost but we leave with our heads high – Kotoko coach Prosper Ogum

Asante Kotoko coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum highlighted on his team’s performance in the 2-1 defeat to GoldStars on Saturday.

The Porcupines are without a win in their first two games of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.

After the game, Ogum spoke to the media, asserting Kotoko’s display as impressive.

“I think we played well. We created a few chances. They looked stronger and tougher in the first half but in the second half we looked settled.

“We came into the game and the changes we made brought stability to our game.”

Ogum continued: “You could see that after the whistle their heads were up. I mean there is nothing like a drop in confidence.

“We look very confident. We are motivated.

“We have come; we did our best; we lost. I don’t think we disgraced ourselves. We did well, only that out of nowhere we conceded that second goal.”

Kotoko are still without a win and will host Karela United at home in their next game.
