New Faces, New Hopes: RTU reveal fresh technical team for 2023/24 season

Real Tamale United (RTU) have taken a decisive step in preparing for the upcoming 2023/24 Ghana Premier League (GPL) season by introducing their revamped technical team.

Heading the new lineup is coach Abdullai Mumin, a familiar face at the club since the previous season.

Supporting Mumin will be coach Alhassan Iddi Manzah, whose expertise is poised to further strengthen the sideโ€™s coaching arsenal.

The Team Manager role has been entrusted to former Asante Kotoko striker Shilla Alhassan, bringing a wealth of experience and passion to the squad’s management.

Meanwhile, the club’s storied past will be upheld by club legend Tawfik Alolo, who takes on the responsibility of guiding the youth team.

With the goal of reclaiming their position among the league’s frontrunners and evading relegation tussles in the latter stages, RTU is determined to leave behind their 11th-place finish from the previous campaign.

The Northern Region’s cherished club will ignite their season with a highly anticipated clash against giants Accra Hearts of Oak on matchday one. The Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale will set the stage for this captivating showdown, marking the commencement of what promises to be a thrilling journey in the GPL.
