Nanabanyin Amoah joins Asante Kotoko’s ranks until 2026

Asante Kotoko has officially announced the signing of defender Nanabanyin Amoah, securing his services until 2026.

The 22-year-old left-back becomes the second addition to returnee coach Prosper Narteh Ogum’s roster in this current transfer window.

Amoah’s signing follows the successful completion of mandatory medical evaluations and the agreement of terms of a three-year contract with the Porcupine Warriors.

Known for his speed and remarkable ability to launch potent crosses, Amoah, a dynamic full-back, joins Kotoko from Venomous Vipers.

This move comes after a single season with the Cape Coast-based club. During his time there, Amoah played a key role in their successful bid for promotion to the Division One League.

Reflecting on his journey, Nanabanyin Amoah acknowledged the unpredictability of fate:

“Few weeks ago, I never thought of being here.

“However, I have always wanted this opportunity to represent the club.

“Now that I have it, I am going to give my all to create a wonderful memory with my new teammates and make my family proud,” Amoah said in his first interview.

Nanabanyin Amoah’s addition to the team augments Asante Kotoko’s strength and versatility. Fans can look forward to witnessing his contributions as he dons the Porcupine Warriors’ jersey in the forthcoming 2023/24 season and beyond.
