Former Ghana defender John Paintsil sees Mohammed Kudus as a replica of Carlos Tevez and Yossi Benayoun.
The Hammers confirmed the signing of the talented player from Ajax Amsterdam on Sunday and Kudus expected to wear the number 14 shirt.
Interestingly, that’s the same shirt number wore by Paintsil in his playing days with West Ham.
Kudus is the London club’s second signing from Ajax this summer after tMexico international Edson Álvarez.
The midfielder is also the third Ghanaian to play for West Ham United after John Paintsil and Andre Ayew.
“Signing for West Ham is a great choice and a good decision taken by the young man.
“West Ham is a big platform with a big family which opens great doors for every player that joins them.”
“This decision will help Kudus and his family as well Black Stars. And with this inclusion now, their Premier league campaign will be a great one.
“He (Kudus) is a replica of Carlos Tevez and Yossi Benayoun” told Akoma FM in an interview.
