Asante Kotoko have had Mudasiru on their books since 2019. His impressive outings saw him gain popularity among the fans and he went on to take up the role of vice-captain for the league-winning 2021/22 season.
The 26-year-old central midfielder’s outstanding performances drew interest from suitors. He has had two successful loan stints during the last year.
First, Muda joined Moldovan serial champions FC Sheriff Tiraspol on a $100,000 loan in July 2022, where he helped them achieve group-stage participation in the UEFA Europa League.
Following the loan’s expiration, he went on to spend another half-season in Saudi Arabia with Al-Batin, who did not keep him after suffering relegation at the end of the 2022/23 Saudi Pro League season.

But the Ghanaian’s performances in Saudi Arabia were recognised, with Al-Bukiryah stepping up to negotiate a deal with Asante Kotoko successfully.
Al-Bukiryah FC, led by Serbian coach Darko Nović, earned promotion to the First Division League after finishing second in Group A of the 2022/23 Saudi Second Division League.
