Benjamin Afutu’s representatives say they will consider plans of returning to Hearts of Oak if the club makes an offer.
The midfielder left the Phobians after the 2020/21 season, opting for a four-yeal with Egyptian side Eastern Company SC.
According to Afutu’s agent, Daniel Tackie, who spoke to Happy FM, the 27-year-old left Egypt due to contract breaches.
“Afutu was Eastern Company’s best player but the club is unprofessional. They failed to pay him and that’s why he had to leave.”
Tackie spoke about a possible move to Hearts saying: “We will consider Hearts Of Oak if they approach us officially.
“But this is football and everything is possible.”
Afutu played a pivotal role for the Phobians in the 2020/21 season where they won the Ghana Premier League before adding the FA Cup title in the same campaign.
