Morocco are likely to face Ghana in the final round of the African qualifiers to the 2022 Fifa U-17 Women’s World Cup after a second hammering of Niger Friday night.
The Lioncelles – who won the first leg 11-0 in Niamey two weeks ago – this time defeated the West Africans 7-0 in the second leg at Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex in Rabat.
The goals came through Karimi Hiba (8′), Azizi Douae (18′), El Madani Doha (23′), Laksiri Kenza who got a brace (45′, 80′) Khelifi Maysane (70′) and El Hannachi Iman (86′).
Morocco thus go through with an 18-0 aggregate score.
They await the winner of the Ghana-Niger tie scheduled for Saturday in Cape Coast. The Black Maidens hold a 3-1 advantage from the first leg in Conakry.
