Kickoff time for the huge 2021/22 Ghana Premier League (GPL) match-day 24 fixture between Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak this Sunday, April 10 has been brought back to the traditional 15:00 GMT.
The match-day 24 Super Clash at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium was originally confirmed for 18:00 GMT before the GFA announced the change Friday morning.
According to a statement by the GFA, the time change is “due to advice from the Ghana Police Service.”
“The Match Coordination meeting will be held at 10 am on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium.
“All stakeholders are to take note of the change in time accordingly,” the statement added.
The first league meeting between the two sides this season ended in a barren draw at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Asante Kotoko currently top the 2021/22 GPL standings with 49 points from 23 games. The Porcupine Warriors are 13 points ahead of Hearts of Oak who occupy 4th spot.
