Ghana-born midfielder Samuel Bekoe has been listed in Sierra Leone’s squad to play three friendly matches during the March international break.
The FC Johansen player picked on the opportunity to feature for Ghana’s West African neighbours as a Black Stars call-up was not forthcoming.
He has seen huge support from the Sierra Leone club since switching from former Ghana Premier League side Inter Allies in 2019.
The process to represent the Leone Stars was completed in November 2021 by the Sierra Leone Football Association and approved by the Ghana Football Association.
