Aduana FC claimed a convincing 2-0 win over Karela United in their 2021/22 Ghana Premier League (GPL) match-day 18 clash at Nana Agyeman Badu I Stadium on Sunday.
Fresh from a hat-trick in their last game against Eleven Wonders, captain Bright Adjei was on song again, bagging a brace for the two-time league champions.
Adjei fired Aduana after just five minutes into the game.
The forward completed his brace in the 20th minute to extend his tally to 11 goals and helped Aduana to two successive victories after going four games without a win.
The ‘Fire boys’ thus ended the ‘Passion and Pride’ lads’ seven-game unbeaten run to go third on the league standings with 30 points, the same as second-placed Bechem United.
Karela, who have lost for the first time since boxing day, are 9th with 25 points from 18 games.
Aduana will play as guests to King Faisal on March 6 with Karela United also hosting AshantiGold the same day.
