Techiman Eleven Wonders came back from a goal behind at half-time to beat newly-promoted Bibiani GoldStars 2-1 in their 2021/22 Ghana Premier League (GPL) match-day 9 clash on Sunday.
The visitors stunned the home fans at Ohene Ameyaw Park by taking a surprise lead through Richard Amoah in the 34th minute.
A fightback was then served in the second half.
Wonders equalized through Abdul Ganiu who scored his second goal in successive home games with three minutes to the hour mark.
Substitute George Osei Amponsah then completed the turnaround, making it 2-1 for the hosts with a sensational free-kick in the 87th minute.
Eleven Wonders managed to hold on in the remaining minutes to bag the three points and climb out of the relegation zone up to 13th in the standings. GoldStars drop to 11th.
