Medeama resigned to losing Justice Blay in free agency

Medeama SC are reportedly resigned to losing star man Justice Blay on a free transfer in the next 42 days.

The midfielder contract expires on January 19, 2022.

Blay is highly tipped to be up for a move to Asante Kotoko who have failed in two previous attempts to sign him permanently.

The 29-year-old enjoyed a successful loan spell with the Porcupine Warriors in 2019 with the club showing keen interest in signing him from the Mauve and Yellows.

Kotoko, however, could not meet the demands of Medeama for the services of Blay in two successive transfer windows, the most recent being two months ago.

Medeama have not been successful either in attempts to secure a contract renewal with the defensive midfielder.

Sources claim Blay is not interested in holding any talks for him to stay at the Tarkwa-based club beyond his current contract despite being offered a new deal that will see him earn almost double his salary, but with no enticement fee.
