South Africa will have a horrible time in Ghana – Zimbabwe coach Norman Mapeza

Zimbabwe head coach Norman Mapeza says the Bafana Bafana of South Africa must brace themselves psychologically for a terrible experience in Ghana.

The caretaker gaffer was speaking after his side’s 1-0 defeat to South Africa on Thursday evening at the FNB Stadium.

Mapeza, who’s team lost 3-1 to Black Stars at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium last month, spoke of Ghana’s poor training facilities ahead of the game.

The 49-year-old has warned South Africa to be prepared mentally for the game.

“It’s not gonna be easy, huh, we went to Cape Coast there and psychologically South Africa should be ready.

“I hope you find a training pitch there. There’s nothing! I hope though you find a better place to train, but yoh, it’s terrible.”

Ghana’s clash against South Africa is scheduled to kick off at 19:00GMT on Sunday.

The Black Stars need victory to qualify to the playoffs while Bafana Bafana will sail through with a draw.
